Matters to be Considered During Application for Abstract:
- The author(s) must send the paper they have prepared by checking it with the plagiarism control program.
- Papers in this symposium must not have been presented or published in another journal or congress.
- Upload your papers in .doc or .docx format to the system.
GENERAL WRITING RULES
- The language of the paper can be either Turkish or English.
- Papers must be scientific, original, and unpublished before.
- Abstracts should explain the subject and be at least 200 and a maximum of 500 words.
- Abstracts and papers to be sent after the application deadlines will not be evaluated.
- Papers should not exceed 15 pages.
- At the beginning of the papers, there will be an abstract in English expressing the subject straightforwardly and concisely. Then, the article should start with an “Introduction” section in which the approaches in the literature related to the purpose, scope, and research, and the method of this study are discussed. It should also end with a “Conclusion” section in which the findings obtained are evaluated.
- Manuscripts are written on A4-size pages, arranged with a margin of 2.5 cm from the top, 2 cm from the bottom, right and left, 1 cm in the header, and 0.4 cm in the footer.
- The main text is 11 pt; English summaries, footnotes, and bibliography are 10 pt Times New Roman font with 1.5 line spacing. Paragraphs and bibliography should have a second line indent of 1.25 cm.
- English keywords should consist of at least 3 and at most 5 words.
- Article title should be in capital letters. Only the initials of the Abstract and Keywords should be written in capital letters.
- Tables, figures, photographs, graphics and drawings should be given sequence numbers. The first letter of each word in its naming should be capitalized, and the table’s title should be italicized. Title and content texts should be 10 points.
- Block quotations that exceed three lines in the text should be in italics in quotation marks, 10 font size, line indentation from the left 1.25 and 0.5 cm from the right.
- APA and MLA styles, common in the reference system, footnote format, and bibliography arrangement, can be used in the submitted manuscripts. Information about these styles is given below under a separate heading.
- Even if the abstracts are accepted, the papers not written according to the rules will not be published.
- All responsibilities regarding the papers belong to the authors.
ORAL PRESENTATION RULES
- Presentations will be made by the responsible author specified in the abstract.
- Studies that are not presented will not be included in the symposium proceedings.
- Researchers will be given 15 minutes, including 10 minutes for presentation and 5 minutes for discussion.
- After the purpose, material and method are mentioned quickly in the presentations, the findings, conclusion and discussion should be mentioned in an essential part of the presentation.
- Presentations will be made following the symposium program flow.
- Presentation files will preferably be prepared in “.ppt or .pptx” format, and the digital copy should be delivered to the relevant persons in the halls at least 20 minutes before the session start time and checked to see if it works.
- Each participant can make a maximum of three presentations.
